Session 8: Interview / Journalism

In this session, I interviewed to my partner Kelly.
The interview task, which we had also done during the toolbox, made it a smooth process. I also ordered the questions well in advance of the class, so I could quickly decide how to structure them. I recorded and wrote at the same time, and after the interview I picked out the important words and corrected them so that I could write clearer answers. This time it was mainly about fashion.
In creating the interview page, we got some photos from her own work and composed them. Her image is chic, so two of the pictures were chic in black and white. The image is based on a Vogue interview. We also looked for and used fonts with an elegant image. We had to use colourless photos and put them together in a chic atmosphere, so it was difficult to devise a good structure.
The first one was composed using one with colour. Again, we tried to create a strong visual impression by limiting the number of photos to just one and using a creative format. For the part of her name, I related it to the colour of the lipstick she is using in the photograph by dropper.

This time it was difficult to compose the format because we had a limited number of photos and we had to create a format without colours, which we don’t usually do. Next time I would like to do more research so that I can edit the photos more and compose more different formats in such situations.
